Where I am...

I started this adoption journey almost four years ago. There have been many unexpected twists and turns but now I am on the road to adopting a baby girl from Russia. Although not her real name we will call her...Hope. For it symbolizes what she is. A miracle, sometimes a dream, always longed and prayed for. With all current paperwork completed all that stands in my way is finances. I invite you to follow my journey as my faith is tested, my belief grows deeper, and soon my Hope will be placed in my arms after so long living in my heart...May you be inspired, encouraged, humored, provoked to think, and always drawn closer to God.

Favorite Photo Friday!!

A time of change. I love this time of year. The air is brisk, crispy, refreshing. The colors are amazing. I have made some decisions about my adoption journey. It is late at night and I have been working long hours. I need to sleep, to restore, to gain perspective. I promise I will post about the latest bend in my adoption road by this weekend. Meanwhile, enjoy the autumn colors around you and the fresh fall air. Wear fun scarves and sassy boots. Sip a hot drink and journal….just be.
I took this picture a few days ago while walking with Daisie Mae and Marmie at a local park. The trees inspired me…

A Full Plate

I have been working alot of long hours these past few weeks. Feeling a little depleted. Like I am trying to do too many things at once...Too much on my plate and not enough energy, emotional and physical to get it all done. Will write more soon. I am heading to bed after a long day in the ICU. I will post soon...

Favorite Photo Friday!!

JeJe at the pumpkin patch

Its another one of our yearly traditions as a family, to visit a local pumpkin patch and select our pumpkins!
Its been so fun to see first Bean, then Sugar Pea, then JeJe come to explore. Each person looks for what they think is the perfect pumpkin. Some want them tall and thin, others round and fat, still others small and bumpy.
I cant wait to see what my baby girl will want in her pumpkin....maybe by next year :-)
